In the Mood - Indigo

Linda Marrone

We are getting in the mood over at Loco Lindo, the mood of indigo.  It doesn’t just stop there, we love all the deep inky blues, from navy to midnight.  Our love of the rich blue hues runs deep, so deep we’ve recently added some rich blue colors to our shop!  See these shades in our 1940s style Rita dress as well as our 1930s style Norma dress.

We hope you love them as much as we do.  ;)

We are so excited to be featured on SwingDance.LA, the ultimate website for all things swing dance in the Los Angeles and Orange County area.  We were chosen to be the first company profiled in a series of articles about clothing for Swing Dancing.  Being that Loco Lindo has outfitted dancers for over 25 years, it was a perfect fit!  In this feature we discuss what makes our dress perfect for dancing the night away.  From our prints to our fabrics come see what we had to say!

A Day Back in Time with the Hollywood Hotshots

Marco Ciappelli

Since time travel hasn’t been discovered yet we here at Loco Lindo often settle for the next best thing, reenactments!  And no one does it quite better than the Hollywood Hotshots.  This amazing performance and entertainment group were recently spotted at Disney’s Avengers Half Marathon in you guessed it, Loco Lindo.

Layer Into Fall With Loco!

Marco Ciappelli

I was born and raised in Colorado. One thing you learn early on is that the weather changes constantly and you become an expert at layering. I got the Boulder gals to try rayon 1940s dresses back in the day and the same question that came up then comes up now: "How do I wear rayon in the winter?"

A cool pair of boots, some warm stockings, a cozy colored scarf is all it takes to keep wearing Loco Lindo in the fall and winter months. Loco loves winter, and soon you will see what we are preparing for the Holiday Season.

Stay tuned for more great seasonal style tips! For now, click below to check out some new garments we just added to the Online Shop while you sip on your warm latte!

I have been collecting great ideas on my Pinterest board for ways to layer your rayon styles and wanted to share them with you. A picture is worth a thousand words, so enjoy!

Where in the World is Loco?

Marco Ciappelli

Loco Lindo has been around since 1992. It seems like yesterday but we have been lucky to be loved by our loyal fans for that long. We never went mainstream. We love our vintage inspired clothing and we love being a small, hands on business. We still like to do things the way they used to be done. Even though we now sell online and are on social media, our personality is still the same:

Small business---made in Los Angeles, California, USA

Now we may have kept things local and manufacture as traditional as possible but that has not stopped us from having clients all over the world. Actually, our garments go global because our customers enjoy traveling and discovering new things. So they carry Loco with them wherever they go! Not only do they love our style, they love how our garments are perfect for travel: easy to care for, easy to wash, easy to dry and always in perfect shape. Just a bit of steam from a shower and you are good to go.

So… here is our idea: As you travel or are just living life in Loco, send us your pic with the description via direct message to our Facebook page. Be sure to tell us where you were, and what you saw! As thank you for that, we will share the post socially so that the Loco Lindo community of fans get to know each other, but we will also send you a personalized Gift Card for $20 that you can use on our online shop. Not too bad is it? What are you waiting for?

We'd also love it if you'd add a testimonial with your picture!
